The Load Balance Group

Sometimes you don't care where something runs. You just want to pick the best computer in a pool of computers and run it there.

Load balance group

The load balance task finds one or more assets with the most available resources to run the tasks contained within the group.

Asset Pool

The asset pool is a list of assets from which Situate will pick the best "Number of Assets". Situate will then set the variables "asset1", "asset2", etc all the way up to the number of assets requested. Tasks within the group should be set to use , etc.

Affinity

The slider at the bottom of the config dialog tells Situate about the kind of load to expect. If it requires machines with available memory, move the slider to the left. If it's CPU intensive, move the slider to the right.
